Downhill Ski Day Trip #2

This is the second day trip in our ski sequence, which really 'lifts' the spirits of all the scouts in the troop. Veteran skiers can improve their mad skillz, aided by the patrol leaders who already have them (or at least who are already mad). Brand new skiers shouldn't worry, the PLC went on a big ol' JLT just to learn how to teach you to be a boss skier.

Today, we will be going to Mt. Brighton, which has runs for both beginning and intermediate skiers. Scouts should dress for the cold, however don't overdo it, as skiing is rather strenuous, and you will literally be too hot for your jacket. Scouts who don't have skis, don't despair! Skis are available for rental, as well as boots.

Two of these ski nights are required to go on the Holiday Valley trip (a really fun trip). Of course, all of the days will be fun, so make sure you come to all of them.

All patrols are welcome, the patrol out winter camping will join as well. Signups will be taken no later than the previous Tuesday for each ski day.
