Learn how to canoe with skills! Your newly learned skills will allow you to engage in battle with the mighty Huron River and, more importantly, with your fellow scouts in various piraty activities!

We will be demonstrating the strokes,proper technique, and what to do if you flip. This will be the first of three meetings, this will be mostly a learning/refresher trip at Gallup Park PLEASE BE ON TIME, we need to count people to rent canoes at 7:00! Make sure to bring a water bottle, NON-COTTON CLOTHES, a sun hat, bug spray, sunscreen, and a croaky if you have glasses which will make this trip enjoyable. This trip will help prepare you for the up coming moving water days, which will in turn prepare you for the White Water Weekend. Be ready to get wet!!!

You must be at Gallup canoe livery on time! We will be renting canoes very close to the start and If your not there then you will not be a able to participate. Be prepared and hope to see you there!
