Sleeping Bear Dunes Weekend

The sleeping bear dunes are a series of massive sand dunes located in northern michigan. We are heading there for a weekend of hiking and playing around on the dunes, with patrol competition mixed in. This trip will also include the introduction of our new experimental Patrol Cup, which will continue throughout the year. Meet at St. Thomas on time, ready to score points for your patrol. Signups will be taken at the next meeting, and we hope everyone can come to compete in cooking, first aid, low ropes, firebuilding, or other surprise events.

Please note that despite the "weekend backpacking" gear list, you DO NOT need a full backpack for this trip. A day pack (i.e., school backpack) for day hiking + duffle bag for everything else is fine.
