Swim Night #2 - PLC After

Hey All,

Welcome to the second swim night in this year's swimming sequence. We have these swim nights every year to get the scouts ready for the canoeing and other water related events in the spring. This meeting sequence is required to participate in the other water events later in the year (with a few exceptions), so it is important that all scouts make at least a few meetings. We'll be testing scouts on their swimming ability (BSA swim test) and then splitting scouts into different groups based on abiltiy to teach them everyhting from the basics (how not to drown) to swimming and lifesaving merits badges (which we usually will not be able to complete, but will a least give the scouts a good head start).

So everyone should make it to at least one meeting, or else talk to me (James Dunbar) the trip leader. They're a lot of fun, so all the scouts should come out and get swimming. These meetings are also Webelos Welcome, so scouts interested in joining the troop can feel free to join us and learn to swim or get better. See y'all there!
