Parent Information Night
At least one parent from each scout family should be at this meeting if possible.
We will be giving some very important Pancake Breakfast information as well as taking sign-ups during the first half of the meeting. During the second half, Scouter Fretz will be giving a short presentation for all those interested on Troop 8's road to Eagle Scout, and other similar topics. Bring any questions if you have them.
This evening is part of an ongoing series. About every month or two, we've set aside one Tuesday evening meeting night to offer a fun / instructional / information session for parents of pack, troop, and crew members. These are not at all meant to be the same thing as our biannual troop parent meetings where we discuss program and volunteer issues, and you should not feel that they are "required" (except this one on 3/2) in any way. Rather, each night we'll pick a topic that we think might be of interest, and give you a small instructional overview of a piece of the program. Our adult leaders spend all kinds of time working very hard with the kids, and it just seems like we so rarely get a chance to share some of what we do with all the parents! We don't want it to be a mystery for you, and we want to share the fun. Some nights we'll just have adults around, and other nights we might have some kids joining in and showing off.
