First Aid Meeting #4

Canceled due to severe weather.

Ever find yourself stuck in an emergency medical situation and not remember what to do? Now for the extremely low price of nothing you can learn from our frendly staff of WFA (wilderness first aid) or higher certified instructers. We will teach every thing from  the basics to things that would leave EMT's awestruck. Our instruction will primarly be foucesed on the first aid requirements for tenderfoot and first/second class so our scouts can obtain those werid things called rank. No worries though, we won't be boring you, there will ACTUALLY BE MOULAGE! (Moulage is fake wounds and blood).

We will be meeting at the usual time (7:00) at the cafeteria ON TIME, as we have alot to cover.  In the begining of the meetings there will be a review/checkoff section were a scout may get a skill checked off; so BRING YOUR BOOKS!  In patrols, a group of experianced instructors will instruct the patrols in the way of First Aid.  Your Patrol Leaders will be formulating various lessons for you, gauged to the skill level of the patrol.  All teaching at the meetings will apply to you!  The Fourth meeting (THIS ONE) will entail anything your Instructors can think of.  You might have a competition, you might have a REALLY gnarly scenario, who knows what they might do?!?!  Your Patrol's "suprise", whatever it is will be loads and tons and barrels of AWESOME!!!! So come experiance the FA meeting of a lifetime!!!

There will be a ton of different gory scenarios with lots of moulage, and you will all get a chance to learn some new and cool skills. Come and be first responders and victims. The fourth meeting will require lots of planning, so tell your PL in advance if you aren't going to be there. Bring your books to the meetings.
