Join us for our annual Crossover Campout! This is the super fun event where all our Webelos will officially become new scouts!!!! (Yay!) There will be food and games until dark, when we'll have a huge bonfire ceremony to welcome in our new members. Come meet your new patrol mates and other imcoming scouts. Parents are welcome to stay the whole time and/or come for the bonfire (usually around 8:45pm). We're gonna have food and drinks, namely in the form of cowburgers, veggieburgers, hot dogs, brats, etc., but feel free to bring fun outdoor games for the group, like frisbees or footballs or other stuff like that. We'll have tents and shelter for all scouts, but you're more than welcome to bring your own tents if you REALLY feel like it.
We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE new scouts to stay the night with us (Attending at least one campout before summer camp is required, just so you know). Please bring your scout shirt, as this is a formal ceremony, and we don't wanna kick you out of a meeting where we're supposed to be adding more people to this military group, I mean the troop. Soldiers, (I meant to say scouts) need to be well-dressed for ceremonies!
If you're coming on the flatwater day, then bring all of you gear for the crossover and we'll shuttle you there. If you arn't coming canoeing, then simply meet us at the fairground at 4:30pm.
Gear to Bring:
*Any Additional layers one might want
*Games for the Group, like Frisbees, footballs, soccer balls, et cetera. (optional)
Note: The "Please Arrange for your own transportation home" thing means that you've gotta get your own ride back to your place. We ain't taking you back to your home. Sorry.
